Reviews and Ratings
The hotel's location in Bloomsbury is fantastic, close to transportation hubs and amenities. The rooms, though small, are typical for the price range but accessible through a challenging staircase. The service is friendly but lacks assistance with taxi bookings. The dining experience is generally positive, with some minor issues. The hotel's facilities are decent, and the value for money is reasonable.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were very nice, with a tea and coffee set, very comfy and exceptionally clean upon arrival. However, the room felt a bit cramped due to the many tables and was too hot at times.
The hotel had everything I needed in its rooms, but the underground rumble could be heard until midnight. It was a bit of a climb to the top floor, not ideal for mobility-impaired guests. The service was extremely helpful, and they efficiently accommodated my wife's allergies. The location was perfect for sightseeing near King's Cross, but the dining experience required self-service for everything. Overall, a good value for money stay.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The room I stayed in, which was Room 33, had both its ups and downs. Although the mattress was very soft and the built-in bed squeaked a bit, the room itself was tiny with just a single bed. Despite some minor inconveniences like the remote volume not working, it was immaculately clean. I found it to be adequate and possibly larger than other typical small hotels in London. The ensuite shower room was a highlight, boasting a good shower, making the small size forgivable given the fair price for this part of London.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location is superb, close to Kings Cross St Pancras and Russell Square tube station, and facing a lovely park, making it great for exploring Bloomsbury. However, the room was a bit of a challenge to reach with a heavy suitcase due to the scary staircase. The staff were friendly but not as accommodating as I would have liked, and there were uncertainties about specific dietary needs for breakfast. The dining options were fantastic with a variety of choices, except for the disappointing coffee. Overall, the stay was enjoyable but had some drawbacks.
My stay at the hotel was wonderful! The room was lovely and clean, overlooking the beautiful leafy square. It was a bit small, but suited me just fine, with a view of the park. The room was a bit overheated when I arrived, and being close to the underground made me a tad uncomfortable, but it wasn't too noisy, thankfully.
